listen to Warehouse by Hopeless, as a preview for this album
Hopeless, a band from Melbourne Australia, (Myspace) play heartfelt melodic hardcore. I'm not sure they could convince anyone that never got into this type of hardcore, but to me they set the bar impressively high for such an -what I thought was beginning to become- oversatured style of music. All the more if you think how young this band is. With so many bands making an attempt at this, it's refreshing to see that there are still bands emerging in the genre that keep it all interresting. TWO THUMBS UP!
Last fm tags this as hardcore, melodic hardcore and black metal, but that might be because there's another band with this name. which doesn't surprise me, alltogether
