Burnt Flags by Witch Cult
Witch Cult (facebook) is a Powerviolence band, leaning more toward metallic Grind and Hardcore Metal. Which apparent influences are heard in both extremes of the tempos that they play, meaning both when the pace gets extremely slow, is when they pull the sludgy Hardcore card, as well as when it’s extremely fast, by way of almost classic Grindcore. This self titled release would be a welcome addition to a collection of modern Grind, as well as to the modern Entombed or Holy Terror style Hardcore bands.
