Spark Is A Diamond (Myspace) was what Death From Above 1979 would sound like, if their vocalist sounded more like the screams from the chick (pardon my language) in Rollo Tomassi or even Oathbreaker. Funky, groovy and highly all in all danceable instrumentation with the most gritty screaming vocals. This band featured members from Morning For The Masses and Fall River’s signature raspy shouting. This is their first release of the two records they ever made.a n intro and 4 songs, of which most made their return on the next full album and were the best on that release, so… there you have it.

Vaccine (website) is a straight edge powerviolence band, from America, that takes the prize for fastest music in my entire music library. 

these 10 songs clock in after 4,1 mins and have the potential of blowing your brains through your sphincter. the lyrics deal with mad as hell animosity, from a straight edge point of view.

Blind To Faith/Gehenna split

To see a Belgian band put out a split record with an American band seems quite exciting. For it to be with a band from the Crimethinc record label even more so. For that Belgian band to share members with the bands Amenra, Rise & Fall, Insult and Reproach and the American band to be Gehenna is just excessive. These both bands slay. This features songs from both on a single record , that makes for one of the most incredible splits I possess. 2 grinding blackened hardcore bands, as someone, whose name I will withold, would portray them

Out Of The box on sunday VII

it's easy to take post-rock music for granted and fail to see what beauty it is based upon. it takes artists like Blueneck to shake me up. fact is they did it with the element I love most in this genre: breathtaking and angelic vocals and occasional classical instrumentation. Blueneck could be compared to something in between recent radiohead and the EF songs that have those cutesy/angelic vocals in them (which are my favorite of both bands).
